Prison Effects on Your Partner

Prison not only effects the incarcerated but the individual that is "holding them down". The partner starts to treat their own self as if they were incarcerated. They stop doing things they love to do, restricting outside activities, adhering to a time schedule that suits both themselves and the individual that's incarcerated. It becomes a vicious cycle and at the end you find yourself in a "locked mental state of mind". https://www.theatlantic.com/family/archive/2021/07/post-incarceration-ptsd-prison-spouses-marriage/619564/
